Nice bag but too big

I could tell it was a really nice sleeping bag but when I ordered it I thought it was going to be a lot smaller than it was. That is the only reason for giving it a 3. Personally I thought it was too big for backpacking.
Good bag - larger than expected

Great bag. Was everything I expected and advertised. The only disappointment was that it is bigger than I had expected - than desired for backpacking. Otherwise a great bag.
Great bag for family camping

Used it on a 23 day road/camping trip and it worked fine when temps were between 30-50 degrees. I might be a bit bulky for backpacking trips.
Excellent Bargain

We bought two of these sleeping bags for our upcoming trip to Death Valley in the Spring. We tested them in the house by turning the heat off before going to bed (we live in Northern CA where it got down to 45F that night). The sleeping bag provided adequate warmth, in fact, it became too warm inside the bags later that night. I think they will be plenty warm during a cold desert night. They are a tad big and heavy, but we're not looking to carry them long distances from the car, so it suits our purpose fine.
