Straight up...I Love this Backpack!
Honestly, one of the best purchases I have made. Reliable, clean looking, tactical, roomy compartments, and it's a Kelty. Enough said.

Tactical and Practical
This is a great overall backpack for lots of uses. The smaller pocket has lots of organizer panels for pens and gear. The larger pocket has an elastic pouch for a hydration pack. The construction is excellent and heavy duty with well padded shoulder straps and back panel. The two side water bottle pockets are extra large and fit a 32 oz Nalgene nicely. Lots of little details that most bags don't have this one does. Both colors look cool so I got one of each. It feels like a bag that will take anything thrown at it on your next mission behind enemy lines.

Versatile Backpack
Very well designed backpack for a variety of uses. Specifically, school/ work everyday carry, day hiking, and travel. The pack is aesthetically appealing and tactical looking without going over the top for civilian use. Excellent internal frame, shoulder strap, and overall external construction. My only complaint is that the hydration tube exit hole and the "kelty" and "peregrine" label interior stitching could have been finished a bit better. Both minor points on an other wise great pack.

light size everyday pack -- office/outdoors/vacation
Strong/comfortable straps + well built + straps on chest & waist (removable) + very simple design. Has 3 zippers: 1 for main compartment (w/ pocket for 15 inch laptop or hydration pack -- has a hole for hydration tube). Another zipper for large pocket w/ deep organizers (pens, calculator, keys, etc). And a small zipper for the same size pocket w/ organizers. This pack has bendable metalic tubing inside so it never looses its shape. You can fit the 1-quart wide mouth nalgene bottle on side pockets (1 on each side). I was looking for an everyday pack that I can use from office/school/beach .. to outdoors light packing .. and to everyday bag for vacation. 1800 cubic feet is good enough to fit everything that I need for the day (or more).

Overall Great Pack
I bought this pack for school/travel, and it is one of the best packs I have ever owned. Extremely well built, it has details not shown in the photos, such as heavy nylon adjustable back straps and lots of padding. The small compartment has organizers for pens, small electronics, as well as a sunglass/goggle compartment. I also discovered it has an internal frame. Much better than most of the North Face packs out there for the same price. My only complaint is that it does have a bit of a price tag, but it is worth it.
