Great little cooler
March 28, 2011
Recently took this little lunch bag on a 3 day backpacking trip that was meant to be a romantic get away. Brought a lot of fresh (but heavy!) food. This bag kept about 20 ozs of frozen homemade bolognese, 6 eggs, 12 ozs of cheese, 4 ozs of salami, 4 mini tubs of cream cheese, and 6 ozs of roast beef ice cold throughout the weekend with nothing more than a 4"*4"*1" chunk of ice. When it was time to pack up and hike out, it compressed down (not a great deal, but enough) to become more easily packed. Purchased 2 of them, one for myself and one for my girlfriend - plan on using them for some day hikes in the future to pack in some lunches. Would easily hold 2 sandwiches and some potato salad or something. Maybe for some day hikes to pack in breakfast making supplies.
Pros: Great design, Build quality, Lasts forever, Performance, Ease of use, Great valueA really wonderful cooler!

I needed a new cooler for work which is in an office environment, and wanted something appropriate, yet functional - this Toto fits the bill and some, built to last too. Keeps items very cool, just wish thy had a size option I would get one slightly larger for when I work long hours and when I go for long outings.
Almost perfect...

For the most part, this is a great lunchbag and I think it is certainly of a quality build and should last for some time. Now to the one issue that keeps me from loving it...size. The dimensions are of course listed so you could say that it is clear that this is a small lunchbag, however what is impossible to take into consideration is the amount of room the insulation takes up on the inside. It is impossibe to fit many small to medium sized containers inside, so anything more than a sandwich box and a yogurt may begin to feel crammed in. Again, outside of this a great bag, but may be more for a light eater!!
Pros: Build quality, Ease of use, Great value, Cons: Bad designAlready own the Kelty Toto? Tell us your thoughts.

I bought this lunch box last year for my 14 yr old son and it worked so great that he is using it again this year (yay for durability!) and I bought another one in a different color for my daughter who is almost 13 for this year. We don't love to throw away paper bags every day but the usual lunchboxes look way too young to take to jr high and high school. These fit in their backpacks and they don't mind carrying them because they look cooler than a traditional looking lunch box.
