paddle jacket

Fits well, is comfortable and water-tight. Too bad the outfitter we kayaked with was so bad. Guess I used up my good decision making on selecting this jacket. Highly recommended.

Water will not run down your neck or arms with this jacket. Neoprene neck gasket and latex wrist gaskets make this jacket ideal for fly fishing in the most extreme weather. Select one that is a few sizes larger to fit a sweater and vest underneath for layering. Bright colors for others to see you on your kayak or standing in a stream. The hood keeps the cold air off your head.
Girlfriend took my Jacket!

I just received my new Kokatat Tempest Paddling Jacket today and she took it within 3 hours! Looks like I am buying another one...lol! I tried the jacket on and must admit I wished it fit me better than it did, the fit was fine for one size smaller than I should have ordered. Once I got in it felt great, looked great and I can't wait to test the weather here in Northern Canada with it on. The jacket's seams at the cuff and wrist fit very well, a little snug on the neck until you realize there is a velcro adjustment on the neck collar which makes it easier to get in out of. The jacket has nice features with the hood adjustments, the chest pocket, velcro adjustments on the wrists, double waist liners to wear with a skirt and the reflective trim for extra visibility. Overall this is great Paddling Jacket for the price, so much so my girlfriend claimed this one and I am in the process of ordering a large. I am 5' 9", 180 lbs. athletic, with a 42" chest, therefore the large will give me some extra room for layering during the colder days.
