La Sportiva N.A. Men's Exum Ridge Trail Running Shoe

Engineered for competitive trail and adventure runners, La Sportiva's Exum Ridge represents the pinnacle of durable performance for discriminating racers. All facets of this lightweight and highly durable off-road shoe are specialized for moving ahead at the fastest speeds possible. The lightweight synthetic leather and mesh upper repels light water and precipitation, but large flex windows give the upper astounding flex and allow for fast draining when immersed in water. A sophisticated multi-component suspension balances RockShock cushioning to decrease pronation with firm Memlex medial support. At the bottom is La Sportiva's proven FriXion® Black Dot Rubber sole with trail tread for optimal grip on a range of steep surfaces.

Great Fit and perfect for the trails.
I have a narrow foot and an even narrower heel. The Exum Ridge fits me to a tee, not a sloppy movement that I have with my other trail shoes.

excellent shoe
I have owned these shoes for about two years. I have bought a few other trail runners from addidas and saucony, but this pair of shoes out does the rest. I run on heavy rock trails, no mountain biking. The outer sole performs great, the rest of the shoe seems just as durable. I have wore these shoes out and most likely will get the La Sportiva Barr trail running shoe. This brand makes quality trail shoes. I highly recommend these shoes.

Great for trail running
it's my first pair of la sportiva shoes and I couldn't be happier. For trail running they are really sturdy and great for rocks. I am going to try climbing soon hopefully they'll be just as sturdy!

Awesome shoe- tight in the toes
This is an awesomely constructed shoe. Hardly ever seen one better. Furthermore, it seems incredibly versatile for any sort of mountain running, easy climbing, backpacking, cani-cross. It fits kind of tight in the toes, which I find starts to wear out your feet after long days on the trail. But for climbing/scrambling, that's just what you want. If you want a more comfortable hiker, I'd go with a shoe by Asolo.

rock and trail
Great shoe - i just used these to run up to the base of the Third Flatiron - climbed the 5.5 route in them - and ran back down. Perfect for trail running and low 5th class climbing - only complaint is that it could use more lateral stabilization for climbing...small complaint in a running shoe!
