Fit Tip: The Nepal EVO GTX fits true to size. The Women's Nepal EVO GTX is lasted for an equally good fit and is lighter too - with scaled down components, including more flexible mid-sole for lighter weight climbers. It has a roomy toe box for thick socks and is somewhat narrow under-foot and narrow in the heel to aid in vertical ice climbing. Do not size up if you are planning on wearing thicker socks. The Nepal also accepts all types of insoles for a more specific fit. In height, they come to just below mid-shin. Be sure to size these so that the heels do not slip in the back and you have enough room in the toe box to wiggle your toes. There is no problem with crampon fit - Cyborg, G14, Sabretooth, Dart, Sarken; no issues.

Fantastic Boot - comfortable from the start.
A solid, well constructed boot - a comfortable fit is assisted by the adjustable tongue which permits individual fit, but ensure the heel fits properly, and secure the laces to keep the heel in place! High altitude trekking/glacier crossing in the India Himalya, I found the boot to perform above expectations, especially whilst traversing rockier ground - I found the Sole traction to be unbeatable compared to my previous boots.

The Ultimate Leather Mountaineering Boot. Bomber is the word for these boots. After a nuclear explosion, the only thing left alive would be cockroaches, and they would be living in the women's La Sportiva Nepal EVO GTX mountaineering boots. The Nepal has been around for years, and the new Nepal EVO features all of the updates from Sportiva. The GTX adds warmth and reduces weight, while adding waterproofing insurance for those sloppy warm afternoon descents. From mountaineering to ice climbing, the Nepal Evo keeps your heels locked down and keeps the weight off as well for technical ascents of waterfall ice. When warmth, sensitivity, and durability are the ingredients that you need to cook up your dream alpine climb, make sure you float on using the Nepal Evo. Highly recommended for Alpinism, cold weather climbing and vertical Ice climbing.
