The Leki trekking poles have "quality" written all over them. They have a good, solid feel to them - with not a hint of the flimsiness some other brands have.

Backpacker magazine was correct. My brother has enjoyed how sturdy these poles are. If anyone is considering a longer trip with a heavy pack, these will greatly reduce one's fatigue.

My daughter and I have found these to be great poles with a simple, yet secure adjusting system. They easily support up to at least 200 lbs. when full weight is upon them, i.e. stream crossing. Great product, makes trekking a breeze, especially up steep terrain.
