Ultralite and ergonomically correct, the Leki Thermolite AERGON XL Trekking Poles are ideal for hikers, wanderers, and lightweight backpacking fanatics. Weighting in at under 1 pound, these knee saving walking sticks will soon become your constant hiking companion.
Built with a Positive Angle AERGON grip, the Thermolite Trekking Poles incorporate a positive angle into the compact right/left hand grip to maintain a more neutral ergonomic wrist and hand position, resulting in exceptional comfort, security and precise tip placement that is enhanced with an Integrated strap. Additional comfort and breathability is highlighted with an exterior thermo-foam handle. For a secure shaft adjustment, a Super Lock System (SLS) that uses a wide thread pattern and steep-angled lock mechanism provides quick and easy changes. This section joint lock is up to 60 times more secure, and less prone to loosening while in use.
A carbide flex tip deflects up to 30 degrees without damaging the lower pole section reduces the risk of pole breakage. Standard trekking baskets are included and are interchangeable with a simple screw on/off design.
