Going light and fast doesn't necessarily imply that you have to give up good gear at the trailhead--especially if you're holding Leki's Ultralite Ti Ergonomic AS trekking poles. Created with Leki's proven and highly popular Soft Antishock System (SAS), the Ultralite Ti Ergonomic AS has an ergonomically shaped positive angle grip that's tilted forward exactly 15 degrees to move your wrist into a neutral position while holding the poles and improving shock absorption. The Soft Antishock System uses a combination of internal steel springs and elastomers to minimize vibration. Press and twist each pole to activate or deactivate the system, so you can eliminate the spring on ascents and go for full cushioning on the gravity-aided trail descents. One of the new Leki features is a special Automatic Mesh Strap (AMS) that features a wicking liner sewn to the mesh to enhance breathable vapor-transfer performance, especially if you're wearing lightweight gloves or mittens.
Light, well made
These poles have all the bells and whistles in a light weight package. For anything less than heavy-weight backpacking, these are the poles to use.
Can't beat Leki
Tried them out as soon as I got them. They're nothing short of everything I had read from publications and personal reviews. Very light weight, strong, easy to transport, great engineering... and Altec made the price right!
Great gear and light as well - Always prefer Leki
The Leki gear is always superior in my experience. You cannot go wrong with these poles.

Very nice
I have used these for the first time and never having used treking poles not sure if I'm using correctly. They feel pretty good, lightweight, easy to adjust.
