Jacket is very warm for football games. I love the long length, so when you sit down you are still toasty! Great fit. Very true to size. A lot of times jackets run small and you can not fit clothes under them. Not this one! Perfect.

Nice coat!
November 02, 2012

I am 5 foot 8.5 inches tall and ~130 lbs. I ordered the medium and it fits right. Enough room to wear a big sweater underneath. I like the cuffs that are warm and soft. One review states that the handwarmer pockets are not lined. In my jacket, they are lined on the cold side with some warm furry material, and not on the warm side. All in all a very nice jacket. Could have been a little bit more fitted to enhance feminine look, that's why I give it four stars not five. Happy customer nevertheless.

kept me warm in 13 degree weather...
January 30, 2012

I needed something to keep me warm for my 1.5 mile walk to and from work that wasn't a huge puffy monstrosity and this is it! It's well made and has no down filling which is good as I try to avoid animal derived products. (the zipper pulls have a leather tab on them so its not 100% vegan unfortunately...) I am glad I bought this coat. It's warm, the fabric is nice and soft yet water beads up and rolls off, and it has a nice slim silhouette. I'm 5'2, 110lbs and the small fits well over bulky winter clothes. It also feels like it will hold up nicely for a few years.

Just what I wanted
November 29, 2013

This is a fabulous jacket for cold city days. I love the length, the color, and the style. I'm so glad I did not settle for the standard black down puffer jacket that every other woman on the street seems to own. It held its own and kept me pretty warm in 18 degree Chicago weather. You should expect to add a couple layers underneath, though, because it is not meant to stand alone to the freezing cold. I especially love the hood - plenty of room to have a hat or a pony tail underneath! Very happy with my purchase and as always service from Altrec is the best!

Calling all long armed ladies
December 27, 2011

I am nearly 5'9" with very long arms for my height. I ordered this in a M and it fits like it was made for me. The Andorra coat is warm without being bulky and the fit is streamlined. If I had my choice I could have done without the front patch pockets, and definitely would have lined the side pockets with the delightful fleece from the collar of the coat. That said, I have been searching for years for a down free knee length coat that fits my long arms. Mission accomplished. This year I will be toasty as I weather the outdoor spring soccer tournaments in MA!

Best coat I've ever bought.
November 15, 2011

I can't believe how comfortable this coat is. It makes me warm and fuzzy when I put it on. The sleeves are a bit longer than normal, which is great because they don't ride up when I get in my car to drive. I typically wear a small or x-small coat (I'm a 1/2 pant and x-small or small top). The x-small is nice and roomy - plenty of room to wear a winter sweater underneath. It's very warm, too! The fur is detachable, as is the hood, so it can be worn several different ways. There are several nice pockets inside. My one minor complaint is the outside pockets. They're not lined and, although they're big, they're in kind of inconvenient spots. For me it's not a big deal.

I love this coat!
February 15, 2012

Looked for a long time, for a non-down, durable, stylish, comfy & warm cold-weather coat. this was a perfect find! I ordered the small. and it fits my slender 5'10 so well! it goes down to about mid thigh on me, which is comfortable for walking, and has the up-zipper option for a vent at the bottom... perfect arm length for my long arms, and I love the cuffs inside the sleeve, for added warmth. the hood actually stays on my head and the furry neck just feels luxurious! the fur attachment on the hood can block vision as another review found, but it folds back easily and stays put, which solves the problem. There are lots of pockets. but the hand pockets are really low, so kind of awkward the style and fabric is casual- I can wear it out hiking in the snow, walking in the rain and to work. the fur comes off and the raisin color is soft enough and the material is light enough that I'll wear it for a spring jacket too- and altrec has the best price!

Pros: Great design, Great value
