Look Pivot 18, a classic
September 20, 2012

This is my first time using this binding and so far it is living up to the hype. Bomber, metal, burly, all that stuff. It has more elasticity than any other binding so pre-release chances are minimized. The paint chips off easily but it makes no difference to the functionality. Brakes are swappable for different width skis but you have to purchase the additional brakes from Rossignol directly and they come with the turntable base unit. I installed my Pivots using inserts and all went well. The hole pattern co-exists well with the Dynafit hole pattern so if you're looking to run a dual mount with alpine/AT then this is a good choice for the alpine end. They are a bit expensive but they will last forever with the metal construction.

Pros: Great design, Build quality, Lasts forever, Performance, Ease of use, Great value, Cons: cosmetic paint chips
