Geat product - good value for the price. easy to assemble and to use. Looking forward to using it although right now it looks like the snow season is over.

When I received the shipment I was a little skeptical because I expected the package to be heavier and bulkier. The sled came in a rather flat box (4" thick) and the weight was maybe 5lbs (?) Putting it together was a matter of screwing a couple of screws and the sled was ready for use. I bought this for my toddler and he's been having the best giggles. The cord is long enough so I can pull it without being hit by it. The sled has survived rough landings. The handles allow my 2.5 yr old son to support himself so he may stay in the sled after these landings. This sled has met my expectations. It has been designed with "function" in mind. We haven't tried it in very steep slops and don't know how the steering and breaking perform yet.

Christmas present for Alaska grandson

We bought this sled for our rough and tumble grandson in Alaska. I had to search hard for a sled that could withstand Alaska conditions and a tough 5 yr old. Plus! Find a company that would ship to Alaska at a reasonable rate!! Thank you Altrec for helping make a little boy happy!!

Overall this was a good buy. I don't think it will withstand many more seasons of sledding, but its just what I was looking for.
