bright and lite
Ijust purchased the lucido txlite headlamp for my husband after I purchased the lucido tx for myself.we had started night hiking in the hiking trails in pacifica.it's dark out by the time we get off from work but want to excerise the dogs and ourselfs.these lamps are better than what we had.we were using the black diamond and petzl headlamps.those in no waycan compare to the mummut headlamps.we can now see whats ahead of us as well as what is to the side.the lucido tx has blinking rear light and a spot light option which is very handy when you need to identify what is out there on the mountain when it's pitch black.the lucido txlite does not have the rear light or the spot light feature,but the headlamp is very bright.it's more simple and very light.I would recomend both the lucido tx and the lucidotxlite depending on your needs.happy trails

Bright Light!
This is such an improvement over my old head lamp. This Lucido is extremely light, the two light options are great for reading or walking around in the dark, it uses very little juice, AAA Batteries...wonderful. Mammut makes some great gear and Altrec is, as usual, very pleasant to shop from.
