The design of this model fits more people than the Petzl's. not all people bear the head like native European, so if you have round head rather than a narrow French guy's head, take this. The strap also feels good, adjusts easily. only shortcoming is not so strong building up. This is closer than the poor made Camp helmet, but acceptable. Never use Camp's helmet, just fancy rubish.

The Hemlet is very comfortable and the plastic shell is alright. The problem is with the EPS inner. I've seen many cases in wich the EPS inner were broken in the exact same place, mine was not the exception. I would not recommend this model.

this is the first climbing helmet I have purchased and so far has worked very well. I have no complaints with this helmet.

The helmet is very light and well ventilated, but sits awkwardly far above the head. It also has a tendency to tip forward and requires almost constant adjustment. Overall, I would not recommend this helmet.

I just use this helmet over 6 months, and suddenly I discover that the inner part was broken apart. I use this helmet in all around climbings. I choose this brand , but I can't imagine what a bad deal I was doin'...

Great helmets.. Sometimes I forgot that I have it on, but it tends to sit to the side and I have to constantly adjust it. Maybe it's because of my lob-sided head =P

Nice helmet but sits too high on my head for my liking. Other than that it looks sharp, nice padding, etc. Going to return it and try the Petzl Elios instead.
