I used this top for all my trips this fall, and it is my new favorite for active pursuits. The synthetic/merino blend and the body mapping sounded gimmicky to me, but after some strong endorsements I decided to try it anyway. Gimmick or no, it works, and well. It really does combine the better features of synthetic and merino well. It has pretty similar thermoregulation properties to merino, but it seems to dry about twice as fast. After 14 days of use, the odor remained reasonable. If you are in the market for a new top, give it a try, I very much doubt you'll be dissapointed.
