Marmot Hacienda 6P Footprint

If you own the Marmot Hacienda tent this footprint is your only option. I unfortunately did not find the footprint to be of equal quality to the tent. The material itself is made from the same quality material as the tent bottom and I am sure it would provide adequate protection doing its function, unfortunately the fit seems to be off. We found the tie outs on the footprint to be too long. The grommets do not match up well with those on the tent, since the tent poles also function to hold the footprint in place not having a good snug fit provides a means for the footprint to shift and potentially allow water to get under the tent (and on top of the footprint). Another small complaint is the storage sack Marmot includes with the footprint, it is laughably small and unless you plan on painstakingly folding and cramming the footprint into the bag after each trip it will most likely just go unused. It should be noted that as of this review the Hacienda was a brand new Marmot tent and the footprint we received was one of the first from Marmot, perhaps they will fix the issue on the tie outs to provide a better fit. If so, I'd change my review back to 5 stars.
