Not a winter coat
Depending on your type of activity, I bought it for wearing it in a urban setting with walking to work and daily use. In my opinion the outer shell may not be heavy enough, it seems to be a good quality wind breaker with a lighter fleece inner jacket. I think it's more suited for rainy spring / fall days rather the full winter. So I will be sending it back

Awesome Jacket, It's better than I thought it would be. There are many advantages on this jacket: warm, waterproof, multi-use and windproof. Thanks to its component design , it could be used in all years, either spring or winter. Moreover, it has a high quality, I am satisfied with it.

Great Jacket
Great jacket, provides very good protection from the wind and water. Love the two components the precip is great fro running and hiking in spring and fall. The inside fleece is very warm, I was a bit shocked how warm and thin it is. Of course it may not be as warm in negative temperatures below -10 Celsius. So far I have used it in cold weather but not below -10 Celsius. In addition, it is great for everyday use.

Great Coat
Great coat, very nice but it ran a little small. 2xl said it would fit a 53" chest and it barely zipped.

good jacket and good price
I bought it for my father. He like it. All in all, It is a good jacket and good price. Also, Altrec provided a good service: shipping fast and saved. I recommend this jacket and Altrec.

Not ieal for Alpine skiing
I bought this jacket as a light downhill ski jacket. I ended up returning it due to the fact that it was just too light. I think it would be great for other light outdoor activities but the shell was too thin to take as many falls as I do.

Very Good Ski Jacket
This is a very good ski Jacket. It is well made. It fits true to size and is stylish. I am 5' 8"', 180lbs and a large fits well. It has a nice removable fleece liner, vents, and velcro on the cuffs. The hood has a little extra lining making it nicer than just the nylon hoods. In my opinion it is very good but not a "top of the line" as the velcro cuffs and are a little small and it does not have a snow skirt. Overall it is very good and well made. The shell seems a little more flexible then some of the other waterproof shells. I have not yet worn it skiing as it is just getting cold.

It can provide many functions for me, Firstly, it can prevent me from rain and wind due to the precip materials, Secondly, It can provide warmth in cold weather due to its fleece inside, Finally, It looks stylish. But it is a little heavier than I thought.

Great jacket. It has lots of pockets for small items and the fleece liner is very attractive.And it looks very great.

Overall great value
Really a great buy for a 3 season coat. Only reason I returned was due to the medium being tight in the underarms and the large was too big for my waist being 160lb and 5'9".

Marmot Cirrus
Great 3 in 1 jacket. Has all the quality you expect from Marmot. Fits true to size. This will be a jacket I rely on and was just a great buy.

Solid 3 season jacket
good looking, minimalist design.... coat is cut on the slimmer side.....but not restrictive...I am big up top (5'10"...245lbs)....and the XL fits great.....not too loose when worn with just a thermal layer...but spacious enough to accomodate a thick sweatshirt under as well with the liner zipped in....haven't had a chance to test shell in rain, but did wonderful in a blowing snowstorm in Iowa....the liner is solid and looks great on its own....plenty warm....only change would be the addition of a poly liner to the fleece liner...this could help with some additional wind stoppage and aid in keeping the sleeves from riding up when wearing non thermal layers.....all in all a solid buy
