Great In between Jacket
February 29, 2012
The Marmot E-line jacket is a great durable jacket for the in between months where the temperature could dip into the 30's and get as high as 60. I can't speak to the quality / durability just yet since I've only recently purchased it but it feels like a jacket I could hand onto for a long time. I'm 6'4" /220 and purchased the XL and it fits me perfectly. The jacket is versatile as well, as it's something you could wear over an oxford and slacks and just as easily be worn with a t-shirt, jeans and work boots and still look good and feel comfortable.
Pros: Great design, Build quality, Great valueGreat mild weather jacket

This jacket does a great job keeping me warm when temps have dropped down into the mid 40's. It's a great looking jacket that I have been complimented on numerous times. At 6'5 195 a large fits me perfectly.
Pros: Great design, Build quality, Great valueLove this Jacket

This jacket fits perfectly. I like the fitted fit and the stretchy material. I would highly recommend this property to anyone. It's light weight so can be used easily when it's not too cold and thin enough to use under another jacket if it's very cold.
Pros: Great design, Build quality, Ease of use, Great valueGreat urban jacket

I want to preface that I live in San Diego where 72F is the normal temperature. I was looking for a jacket that would work well in the 50-70F temperature range. This jacket is excellent for that purpose. It's stylish, has lots of functional pockets, is very breathable and stretchy. The handpockets are especially soft and warm. It seems like they use a thicker material than is typically used for hand-warmer pockets. It even has a headphone cable holder in the collar which isn't described. Only the front part of the jacket is lined on the inside with thin fleece. It's not a particularly warm jacket, but it'll should work well for spring/summer hikes. Well, in San Diego, it should work well for all four seasons! I can't vouch for it's waterproof or windproof quality since it's been pretty warm for the few days I've worn it.
Pros: Great design, Build quality
