Great Lightweight Option!

After being able to use these a few times now I feel I can give an accurate review of what I think. These are an excellent lightweight option for full wateproof protection on you lower half. At just 6 oz. they are nearly as light as many UL rain chaps, etc. that UL backpackers are using however with more protection. The fit is good not too tight but not much excess fabric either and the lower leg zip helps in putting them on over shoes. The fabric is very light weight and though you wouldn't want to walk through heavy brush or a briar patch I think it is adequate for normal use hiking along a trail. These are a great pair of pants that I always have with me in case of heavy rains but hardly notice they are in my pack, another quality product from Marmot!
