excellent quality and nice and warm, but like other marmot stuff runs on the larger side. I am a big guy (5 11 190lbs) and probably would have gone with a medium rather than a large.

I like the fit of this vest, the closure in the armpit is a different type of design than other vests, where it is more complete and a lot of air does not get in, but it does not dig into your armpit. The front zipper has been difficult at times, but it is extremely warm and comfortable. It also has fit adjusters in the front pockets that helps you to almost custom fit it to your body.

Vest is both warm and soft - I'm not usually a huge fan of vests but after trying this one I was hooked and am very happy I purchased it.

I chose this down vest due to Marmot’s known quality and its good value for the money. Please keep in mind that this vest has LIGHTWEIGHT insulation for cool days, but NOT for freezing conditions. The design is great; however, the zipper tends to snag which I think is normal on most down jackets. This is easily fixable with a little work on the owner’s part.

This is a really well-made, warm vest. It's perfect for layering over a down sweater when temps are super-cold. We also use ours when in the late fall and early spring, when a full down sweater isn't necessary, but a heavy fleece isn't enough. We love Marmot and would definitely recommend this vest!

Great fit, warm, and comfortable. Fits true to size, if anything it is on the large size. It is definitely puffy, not a thin layer. All in all, a great vest for colder conditions.
