And Oscar goes to ... Marmot Hyper! After first day in Marmot Hyper, my old goretex hardshell has gone to trash! Marmot Hyper absolutely doesn't look like a hardshell. It's really stretchy, very stretchy! It's more comfortable than many softshells which you can buy at the market. I'm not sure about its durability at the mountains (climbing) but for hiking, backpacking or any outdoor activities, I think it's the best choice at this price level. Amazing jacket and very reasonable price!

Great jacket at a reasonable price. It's their better grade material and their high quality zippers and hardware. Ever been disssatisfied by a marmot product. It's light weight and withstands the wind and rain verywell, far better than my EMS & Northface that I had prior and more breathable. I have yet to get in really nasty conditions.
