Functional and sharp
My first go with the coconut fiber (Cocona Performance Technology) and I’m impressed thus far. The fabric is excellent at keeping you dry and doesn’t limit your mobility. The shirt works well as a base layer. It’s pretty durable, but a downside is that the fabric snags easily. I have wide shoulders and the form fitting shirt fits well and holds its shape well. I would have to say that the sleeves are pretty tight and it make pulling them up tough. It’s a mild annoyance that is easily overlooked.

Awesome base layer
I love this top. It is so comfortable and warm, and I really like wearing it. Marmot never disappoints.
I like it so much, I just bought a second one! I highly recommend it.

This is one of my most favorite tops because it is one of the most comfortable and functional layers I own. I am 6’1 185 and got the large. It’s not as form fitting as I thought it would be but the arm and torso length is just right. It is quick drying and totally breathable. The zipper is essential for regulating heat and comfort.

does its job and looks good
I've used this as a layering piece over a base layer in the extreme cold (antarctica) as well as a shirt to wear to the office and around town. It suites these situations very well. Love the color and fit -- I'm 5'9", 150lbs and the medium fits perfectly. Probably could be classified as a slim fit. My only gripe is that it's starting to show its age -- after a bunch of washes and use it's starting to get pilly. Other that than, it does its job and the material is stretchy and comfortable.

Brilliant base layer
Very happy with this shirt, makes an excellent base layer and also wearing it on its own with a vest. Great quality, beautifully made, feels fantastic to wear

Decent - higher neck & softer hand would be better
This is a decent midweight Zip neck, but there are better options for the money.
Bullet point insights:
* small zipper garage at top of collar is nice, and semi-snug fit is more apres-ski worthy than skintight performance-fit models by competitors like Underarmour.
* no appreciable odor control for single-day use. Perhaps over multiple days between washes, the claimed odor-control of Cocona would be noticeable, but for single-day skiing, cycling, hiking or running sessions, I've noticed zero odor control benefit on this garment vs. my untreated polyester zipnecks.
* Cocona is rough. Even after multiple washings, this fabric still has a slightly scratchy, wool-like hand I had hoped would go away with additional wear.
* 1/2-3/4" inch of neck height would make this MUCH better for winter conditions. Neck height is 2.25"m which is borderline IMO.
I don't wear a zip neck unless it's below 40 degrees, and when it's that cold, I want maximum neck coverage.
Note to industry: make zip necks 3" tall, and produce a crew-neck version for those who enjoy cold necks.

Great Pullover
Just got back from a week of skiing in Vail, CO and the Marmot Midweight Zip Neck Shirt was the ticket!!! Great wicking properties, very warm mid layer, washes up great! Can't ask for more at this price point!

Great Shirt
I really like this shirt it has excellent quality and fit. Super warm and wicks moisture well. Great active top I wore it in some pretty cold periods of military training and it kept me warm without having to worry about bulk.

Warm, comfortable, and effective
I used this shirt in 38 degree weather and worked perfectly. The XXL fit very well for my 6'4 265lb frame. Lightweight and comfortable for entire 5 mile run.

Very lightweight, durable and comfortable
Very lightweight, durable and comfortable Long Sleeve Zip Neck Shirt. I expected this top to be much heavier but it's surprisingly warm for such a thin shirt. This shirt fits true to size, I'm 6'3" 235 lbs. and the XL fits great.

Great midwieght shirt
Great mid weight shirt kept me plenty warm during cool Eastern Sierra nights in California. Oder control was great considering I wore this several days without washing. I will be purchasing a second one in the near future.
