Great for wet weather all year long

This is a high quality rain pants. Short is just right size for my height, 5'7". Love it! I can put them on with ease (even with shoes on). :) I was reluctant at first because it has zippers on both sides and the water would get in during the downpour rain, like from southeast Asia... whatever my rain jacket/Gore-Tex shoes could handle these pants could too. I'll get a pair or two more soon, just in case Marmot stop making this design. :)

We purchased these Precip pants for our son going off to college in Portland. He needs to get around to classes and is a rock climber. The pants are vey light weight, and zip from top to bottom on each side. There is no front snap- just slip them on easily. The rain pants will easy slip over jeans and are light and compact to stuff away in a backpack, etc. The pants look sharp and our son thinks we made a great choice!

I love my new PreCip pants. I have size 14 shoes, so most pants I have are hard to get into without taking my shoes off. These pants with full length zippers solve this problem. I have a 36 inch waist and usually purchase large pants. But, purchased a XL in this pant and it is just barely large enough. I have a 33 inch inseam and got the long. That worked out real well. One thing I don't understand about the design of these pants is the pocket cuff opening. The opening faces toward the front instead of the rear. They appear well built and I would highly recommend.

Excellent Protection From Inclement Weather

I wore Mamot's Precip Pants climbing Mt. Kilimanjaro and they performed superbly. I wore them as a shell over my hiking pants to protect me from the high winds at the peak which was a real test. The pants performed excellently and are really windproof, breathable, comfortable and easy to wear. I used them on the lower slopes in wetter conditions and again they did the job. I highly recommend Marmot's Precip Pants!

I love these rain pants. I have used them for over a year in all seasons and they have stood up to the beating I gave them.......and they still keep me dry. Would buy them again

Perfect for keeping in your bag for rainy days. Lightweight will fit over pants or shorts. Fit is on the roomy side. Needs a drawcord in the waist. Love the full zipper along the sides.

I would recommend the marmot precip full-zip pants to anyone looking for solid, functional rain protection at a reasonable price. sure one may have questions as to the longterm durability, but like any other Marmot product these rain pants are a legitimate contender. price to durability ratio is tops. thanks again Marmot.
