A great purchase..
September 16, 2008
I bought this for my husband as an alternative to something heavier for the cooler fall mornings in Colorado. He has worn it most mornings, and likes the mobility he has without being to warm, and I think it's good looking.

i love the vest and i wear it all the time
August 30, 2010
It's a very nice microfleece vest. I've had a previous model and that's kept very nicely for years though finally died. I found that the sizes were a little on the small side though so you may want to choose a size up
Great all around.

Just picked this one up, sized up since the L was a bit short in the body. Just a real comfortable fit on cool days and not too thick to layer. Pocket on chest is a bit on the small side, but should fit a cell phone in a pinch. Otherwise, no complaints yet!Pros: Performance, Great value
lightweight fleece vest
February 25, 2011
A lightweight fleece vest suitable for casual wear or active wear. Marmot is known for high quality, thoughtfully made outdoor wear and the vest clearly meets the standards. I love the blue color and the well-placed pockets. It is the lightest fleece vest I've ever come across, a bit lighter and less warm than I was hoping for, but perfect if you're looking for a lightweight, compact fleece vest.Pros: Great design, Build quality, Lasts forever, Performance
Polartec warmth and quality
March 24, 2011
Classic Polartec - been around a long time and been improved by Malden Mills year after year. This is a very light fleece and nicely compressible. Maybe the only thing lighter and more compressible would be the Chameece from MontBell. I'm 5'11" and ~160lbs. and own this and the Marmot Radiator Classic Polartec 200 jacket in size Medium. The jacket fits just a slight bit loose but is well fitted, and this vest, by comparison, is only slightly more fitted. I consider the size perfect for adding just over baselayers or lightweight shirts. The length is surprising -- a bit longer than the Radiator jacket -- so length of coverage is no issue at all. Built well. Good zippers and pockets. Worth getting if you need a great lightweight vest.Pros: Great design, Build quality, Performance, good athletic fit
Great Polartec Vest by Marmot
April 30, 2011
Marmot does it again. The use of polartec fleece on this vest makes it a very versatile piece of clothing. Wear it to keep your core warm during a chilly spring morning with a tshirt as a base layer. Or, for those of use that like greater mobility in while layering, use it as a mid layer for those colder winter days. Recommend this to all.Pros: Build quality, Performance, Great value
Perfect Fitting Vest
February 23, 2012
I actually had slight reservations about this vest given how it looked on the model. It appeared too snug and kind of short. However it's hard for me to pass up on a deal and i liked the overall appearance, so i ordered it anyway. When it arrived the vest fit perfectly. I'm 6'2" 210 lbs. and an XL fit long in the torso, just how i like it. It's versatile and comfortable, works great under a jacket in winter, and i anticipate it will work well over a t-shirt in spring. Highly recommended!Pros: Great design, Build quality, Great value
