My Go-To Daily Jacket
I have many free-movement, light-weight jackets from different manufacturers. The Marmot Tempo is my favorite. It is so very comfortable. My previous favorite was an EMS brand I bought many years ago (it's no longer offered). I still wear the EMS for cool-weather yard work but the chest pocket zipper won't stay closed. After purchasing many similarly constructed jackets to replace the EMS, I finally hit on the one for me. What I looked for was freedom-of- movement, a breast-zippered pocket, mild-wet-weather function and a great fit. It looks like the designers of the Tempo were reading my mind - the zippers are beefy and are likely to last more than a few years of daily cool-weather wear. In cold weather I wear the jacket as a second layer. I could not be happier!

Totally awesome!
I'm a huge fan of the stretchy awesome fit and comfort of Marmot Scree pant, so I decided to buy the matching Tempo jacket, and I am not disappointed. The Marmot M3 is not as wind resistant as some soft-shell fabrics, but it makes a great high-activity spring/fall softshell. Obviously, it breathes exceptionally well, but what I love is the awesome performance for the price I paid. Raglan sleeves offer exceptional mobility in addition to an incredibly stretchy fabric.
The DWR can shed some light rain. I always treat with Revivex or Grangers after every wash, and my softshells will withstand some pretty harsh rains much better than the factory DWR allows.
It's a no frills jacket that fits well (Medium fits perfectly on my 5'8, 155 frame with 40 inch chest), moves well, and is very comfortable. I love it so much that I bought the women's version for my girlfriend on sale.
Marmot Scree Pant and Marmot Tempo Jacket -- an awesome combination!

Solid all-around Jacket
Very pleased with this jacket. Am 6ft 1" 175lbs , large fits me fine, there is room for mid-weight layer underneath but yes this is a slim fitting jacket. Gave it four stars instead of 5 because I think the elastic cuffs are a touch tacky, but not a big deal I tuck them under a bit and am good to go.

Great lightweight jacket
I love this piece. It is my new "go to" jacket. You can stuff it in your pack and then put it on and it looks great. The fabric is stretchy and tuff, great for under a pack. I also love the colors.

Great Jacket
I bought this jacket for winter/spring running and late spring climbing and am very satisfied with it so far. The fabric is light and very breathable, but durable. I'm 5'11 170 lbs and the jacket fits close without being tight. Overall I'm really happy with it and would definitely recommend it as a lightweight jacket fir high output activities.

Marmot Tempo
This jacket is not as thick and warm as expected. It's a very good base layer. I would reccomend this product but not for the price I paid. Overall, I was satisfied with my purchase.

Folds up to carry in backpack
Comfortable fit but not as wind proof as it should be. Great detail for the spring and excellent color.

Perfect at 11,000ft
Comfortable, sleek fitting men's jacket. Perfect for those cool breezes and scorching UVs at 11,000ft on the continental divide this past weekend.
