Great fleece!
February 07, 2012
Marmot nailed it with this jacket. The fit is dead on and comfort is off the charts. I live in Southern California so the midweight fleece is nearly perfect for our mild winters. I've tried more expensive brands like Patagonia and The North Face but I honestly believe that Marmot just makes a better product. This jacket is a really good value for the money.

Great marmot Shell
February 28, 2012
The Marmot shell is another well designed and made Marmot product that clearly demonstrates why the company is one of the go to companies for outdoor gear. I have been buying the company's products for over 15 years and find that all are world class in terms of functionality, design, quality and attractiveness.
Pros: Build quality, Performance, Ease of use, Great value, Cons: CostMarmot Warmlight

Marmot makes quality outerwear and the Warmlight is no exception - this is definitely the most comfortable fleece I own and works in a variety of conditions. Good wind protection for a fleece (much better than North Face) and the fleece seems to have very strong anti-pilling as I wore it for most of December and January and it still looks like it did when I got it. Fit is true to size (Marmot runs smaller than other brands like Patagonia however), and a fantastice value for the price. Awesome fleece from Marmot.

Warm Lightweight Fleece
February 20, 2009
What a great jacket, extremely warm, great fit.I purchased this jacket as the Zippin layer for my Marmot shell. As a layering system with my shell, I only needed to wear my Under Armor base layer and was completely warm in 10 degree, 20 mph winds while skiing Breckenridge. This fleece is also warm enough to just throw over a tshirt in 30 degree weather . I highly recommend this jacket.

From Brazil
April 25, 2009
Here I am in Brazil. Although here in my region to be warm, in mountains we have up to 17 degrees Fahrenheit in mountains in winter. I purchased five of these jackets and can say that I am very satisfied. They are great jackets, extremely warm, great fit. Congratulations Marmot!
Good value especially at the sale price.

I purchased 12 of these jackets for our meter readers for winter wear and layering under their rain shell. I was somewhat disappointed in the details like not having an interior zip pocket(description says it has one)or some type of extra lining around the collar. We did like the fit of the jacket, not to loose, more form fitted. This should be a plus for layering under a shell. Time will tell on how they hold up in our work setting.

Great mid-weight fleece
April 01, 2009
I bought this for my son to layer under his raingear. He's 5' 8" 160 and the medium is perfect in the green. In fact he's wearing it right now and has been ever since it arrived 3 weeks ago! No pilling and a good length- not too long.

running strong. This jacket has maintained its fit and condition after 3 years of use. Lives up to my experience with other Marmot brand purchases.

It's a fleece jacket.

It fits well, feels true to size. The fleece feels very soft, softer than my other fleece stuff. It really zips into my Marmot shell, which is nice. It has nice details, a lining in the front that feels soft a drawcord on the bottom, and here's the neat part, the cords terminate inside the pockets with little plastic cinchers. You have to figure this out, but once you do, no cord trailing on your thigh to get caught on things. Neat, huh?

Quality, functional mid-level fleece
January 04, 2010
Looking to purchase a mid-level fleece in a camp a little bit different that most you see on the street, I was drawn to the Marmot Warmlight. Living up to the stellar reputation Marmot has, I was pleased with both the classic and traditional styling along with the functionality of this product. Being 5'11" and 155lbs, I often have trouble finding my size at times, however with this jacket I found that a medium works well in chest and height. My only concern was that the sleeves ran slightly longer than my preferences for my 33" length arms. This small issue aside, which in no way reduces my use of the jacket, I am very pleased with my purchase and wear it several times a week!
It's Warm
