Decent glove
February 28, 2011
Not a bad glove but it could fit more snugly in the hand and around the cuff. I wear a large (medium not long enough) and it just does not fit like a power STRETCH glove should. I do like it but just wish it was a bit more snug all around.
Pros: Build quality, Cons: loose fitGreat Glove

This glove is one of the best fitting gloves I have ever purchased. It is snug on all fingers and wrist. They are thin gloves, and allow you to have maximum dexterity with your fingers. I would recommend them to anyone.

Possibly the perfect pair of gloves
June 28, 2012
I had purchased these gloves for general winter use but after testing them for cycling I have discovered that they are almost ideal for this purpose. Now, they have become my dedicated 3-season dry-weather cycling gloves. Polartec Power Stretch is a wonderful fabric. It warms, it cools, it dries, it doesn't get sweaty and it feels wonderful to the touch. There is no other glove I have tried that can be worn for as long while the daily temperature and your exertion level changes. The cut of the glove is simply excellent as you begin to forget you are wearing them. An an added bonus there are two pads on the tips of the index and middle fingers which are perfect for shifting gears using STI style shifters. As a bonus they can be paired with Marmot's PreCip Shell Gloves which are purposefully designed to a size larger (pair L with L, XL with XL, etc). Now you have dry and wet weather protection! The only downside of this fabric is that it pills more quickly than fleece and the weave is not as durable. In normal use you will not have any problems but if you accidentally snag them on a sharp object the weave can tear open like other fabrics requiring a stitch or two. Regular napped fleece gloves have no weave and therefore no loops to catch. Marmot sizing was spot on. Highly recommended for cycling and especially for general wear.

too small for long fingers
February 16, 2011
I purchased these gloves in an XXL hoping they would fit my long thing fingers. Unfortunately, they were a bit too short to fit over the bottom of my hand. I do have longer than average fingers-they are a little over 8 inches from middle finger to bottom of hand. They seemed like an excellent glove for persons with smaller hands. Excellent feeling gloves, nice and cozy. Great material and design...just too small for me. Thanks to Altrec's excellent return policy I received a refund no problem and intend to ask their staff for the best glove to fit my fingers.
Pros: Great design, Build quality, Ease of use, Great valuePerfect glove liners

These glove do exactly what they are suppose to do. Keep you hands warm enough and free when you need a light layer and fit nicely into any glove. Wicks away any and all moister developed. I love them

I got these to replace a pair of Marmots I lost. These aren't an exact replacement, but I have to say I like them better. As advertised, they do stretch to fit, although I have small hands and don't need much stretch. Construction is sound, and they have a classier look than my old pair. I wear these for brisk hikes on chilly days, but they're nice-looking enough to wear to the office, too. I live in coastal Virginia, so I haven't tried them in freezing weather. But they'd make comfy liners in winter gloves.

nice soft material. tightly woven/manufactured to create a barrier while out in the elements. can't wait to use them next snow season. California-spring is almost here! My only complaint is that the fabric catches my dry skin, otherwise no complaints.
