just received hat;it looks great and durable
this hats looks to be well made,and will work perfectly on a rainy day to keep the hood up on gore tex jacket..it could also stand alone on not so rainy days..the fit is great

I Like It!
Needed a hat that would keep my head dry and found this. As others have stated, it fits great. It "hugs" your head without sticking up as some baseball hats do. For me, that is a huge plus. Very comfortable and extremely light weight. It seems to be well made, time will tell if it deserves 5 stars on durability. Honestly, I would expect a hat like this to cost a bit more. I see typical baseball caps that sell for 20 bucks. This is not typical and I'm very happy with the purchase. Altrec was pretty good too. Ordered on Sunday, it arrived on Tuesday.

Marmot Precip Cap
The cap is waterproof and plan to use it with my rain coat when I go out walking in case if rains or when it is not raining, I'll use to keep the sun off my head. The hood on my rain coat is slightly large and hangs over my face. The cap will keep the hood in the correct position while shedding the rain.

Love this cap!!!
This Marmot Cap is the best ball cap for hiking or anything. I have a small head and the fit and comfort are the best. It is fleeced lined around the band, and I use it in dead winter when the wind isn't blowing backpacking high-up and it is warm enough.
