this is a light-weight, good looking sun/rain hat that will make your hiking a cool and pleasant experience.

This hat has kept my head dry many, many rainy days at work. It's a must for any rainy day.
nothing but good things to say-

This hat by far is the best one out there. I'm thinking of buying a second one to have a spare. if you don't know what size to order- I suggest to lean toward the smaller one, I'm usually a medium, but need the small in this hat.

I like this hat because it doesn't have a huge nerd brim like most of them out there .... it is just big enough.Very packable.
Rain and sun protection
April 10, 2009
I love hats. This hat has a adjustable head band and a removable chin strap. Nice to wear, the brim does not impair my vision yet it still provides good protection. Soft and packable for travel.

This hat is smaller and cooler than others I have tried. I love the internal magnets that clip the sides but I have yet to encounter my first downpour.
GOOD RAIN HAT

Good rain hat. Cheap.
I really like this hat

First off my Black Diamond flexfit cap is a L/XL, so I ordered my Marmot Precip Safari hat in a XL/XXL. When I first put it on the fit was a bit loose, but that's ok because the hat has an adjustable head band and with a slight pull the hat fit perfect. I finally got to test the waterproofing out when it rained last week. The hat kept my head bone dry. All in all I would definitely recommend the Precip Safari hat. It's a killer hat.Pros: Great design, Build quality, Performance, Ease of use, Great value
Keeps you warm and dry

This hat is great. It kept me warm and dry without feeling sweaty, and to top it off, it looks good too!

This hat has the Marmot name and thats it. Took it to Alaska for a flyfishing trip and it was absolutely worthless. The bill is too short and folds in high winds letting the rain hit you in the face and run down your neck in the back. Save your money and stick to a jacket hood for heavy rain conditions!Cons: Cost, Low performance, Poor quality
Black, Fatigue and Gargoyle.
