This hat is warm

I purchased the Marmot shadows hat to replace a nike beanie I recently lost. This is night and day in comparison. The hat is warm and fits perfectly. I don't have the smallest head and this hat stretches over my ears for a nice fit that's not too snug. I couldn't be happier.

This took is not the warmest took that is available, but for after some excercise (skiing, snowshoing, jogging...), put this took on your noggin and you will be in good shape. The black took is what I ordered and I wish the brand name "Marmot" was embroidered in black, but I can live with the white.

MY SONS SAYS THESE HATS ARE VERY WARM AND NOT TO BULKING... THEY LOVE THE COLOR OF THESE HATS AND LIKE THAT FACT THAT IT KEEPS THEM WARM. I WOULD RECOMMEND THESE HATS TO OTHER YOUTHS AS WELL AS MATURE MALE ADULTS.

Looking for a hat that would fit my large cranium. This one seems to fit the bill better than most. It is a fairly thin hat. Should be OK down to about 30 degrees. Construction seems great. But, as stated in another review, it is not a 100% wool hat as stated in the description. It is marked 30% wool 70% acrylic on the tag. Just hope the description can be corrected. Overall a good hat.

i bought this for my son who hates itchy hats, clothing. every photo he sends me has this hat on when he is out snowboarding~~ he must like this a lot. getting in different colors for christmas~~

Fits well. Most importantly kept my ears warm snow blowing/shoveling 2 1/2 hours in 20 degree (wind chill 0) weather. Label says 70% Acrylic 30% wool unlike description above. Still would buy again.

I love this hat. It's warm (not itchy) yet looks good enough to wear in the city too. I use it as much going to work as I do biking and skiing. Also, it fits well under a helmet.

Very soft and stylish. The fleece band inside has kept my ears nice and warm. The subtle Marmot logo gives them ample brand integrity without overstating themselves. I'll probably buy another one of these hats in a different color.

Ever since I purchased one of these hats, I can not get enough of them!!! I have six of them!! Wish they would make more colors!!! Love the inside lining around where you sweat the most

This is an excellent beanie; I love Marmot's quality. I shave my head and this beanie keeps the coconut warm all the time. it is also stylish covering head and ears just right.

The Marmot Shadows Hat looks and feels great; plus is made very well. The stitiching and the "Marmot" logo in the front are attractive as they compliment my recently purchased Marmot Men's Palisades Jacket in black... ...If I had my druthers, I would make every 'skully' hat this way! MSL

A handsome wool beanie that's warm and well made. I needed an extra warm piece of headgear and this is it. The lining in addition to the wool exterior is what really makes it. Couldn't ask for more. Love the color.

Warm not itchy

This hat has the warmth of wool but isn't itchy. I think the wool itself is soft but the fleece headband feels great on my ears. Very warm and comfortable! I also like that this hat isn't bulky.

I absolutely love this hat. Admittedly I have a large head and I had a hard time finding a hat that would cover my entire head. After reading many reviews, I decided on this hat. It is perfect! The fit, quality and comfort is A++. I will purchase this hat again for sure.
