Marmot Spring Glove
February 12, 2011
I was looking for a comfortable glove that didn't break the bank. The over all warmth of this glove is not the greatest but it is not a "thick bulky" glove either. With that said I think it does a good job at keeping your hands comfortable. I have had the glove in 0-30 degree weather and with moderate use of the hands and or activity my hands seem to stay comfortable. This is not a glove that you would want to ware for extended day trips hiking in the back country should the temps fall but as the name says "Spring Glove" I think it is well suited for slightly warmer winter temps. Waterproof is excellent and the construction is great. I have pretty good movement of the hand but noticed just a tad bit of extra material at the end of a few of my fingers. My hand size was just at the point where I could have went with a size M or L according to their fit guide...I tried both of them on and went with the large. Size M was just a bit snug and I noticed my hand started to throb slightly when making a fist...not what you want in a glove esp if the temps were cold and this is all you had. Constriction of the hand and thus the blood will only make things worse. If you can swing the price and you fall into that size issue get both and see what fits best for you. All in all I am impressed with this glove for what it is...hope this helps...enjoy!

pretty happy with these. just used them for an 8 day trip to CO. I just wish they were a bit bigger. I bought the XL size and they are still a little tight to put on, which makes me think that they'll eventually come apart at the seams fro me tugging and fighting to get them over my palm each time. once they're on- I'm happy- but I feel that XL gloves should be a bit bigger. either that or make some XXL gloves

This is a real good & warm pair of gloves especially if you have to deal with frosted ice cold vehicles first thing on frosted ice cold mornings as they are real flexible & have a leather palm to be able to have a sure grip on the steering wheel & they are waterproof so after scraping windshields & removing snow they won't get stiff & brittle.
Pros: Build quality, Performance, Ease of use, Great value, warm, Cons: noneNice Gloves But Too Small

These seem nice but I ordered a medium because I have smaller hands and I couldn't even get them on. Would almost need an XL which I never have worn before.
Pros: Great design, Build quality, Performance, Great valueNice glove

If your like me and don't like thick, over padded gloves, these Marmot spring gloves might be the ticket for you. These gloves allow full dexterity of your fingers and are surprisingly warm for their weight. I can use these most days for skiing and snowmobiling except for the really cold days. They are also surprisingly durable and last much longer than comparable Marker spring gloves.
