Could have been warmer
November 14, 2011
After tent-camping for a week in the Smokies in early/mid November, I was a little disappointed in these gloves. It got down to 20 degrees outside at night and in the early morning, and I found that these gloves did not do the BEST job in keeping my hands warm when idle. I liked having easy access to my 4 fingers without removing the entire glove. But I would have liked a little more warmth. Worked great when hiking with poles at around 30-32 degrees and above. Would recommend for temps near freezing. sorry......
Pros: Great design, Ease of use, Cons: light on the warmth factorSuper gloves, my husband wants to steal them!

These gloves are perfect for my job when I have to meet a customer and write while being outside in the cold. When I'm done, I just cover my fingers. Before, I was always taking off my gloves and my hands were freezing. The fingers are short enough to write with. I ordered a different brand as I didn't know which would be best, the other ones were stiff and the fingers so long I couldn't write with them so those were returned. My husband had them on and said he would like them for golf, being the dedicated golfer who golfs in the cold. He liked the soft rubber on the palms. He was out in the garage swinging the golf club with them! I'm leaving them at work so he doesn't steal them from me, lol!!

Great product, slightly bulky but warm
September 03, 2011
If you're looking for convertible glomitts (glove-mittens) from a name you can trust look no further than these Marmot Windstoppers. These will feel great on your hands whether you're fully covered or peeled back. They are definitely warm but I also found them a bit on the bulky side. That's probably fine for most people but if you need the convertible gloves so you can do something precise like make a skiing adjustment or jotting down some notes, the thickness could impede you a bit until you get accustomed to the size and fabric. Nonetheless, I enjoy these and I think you will too.
