Nice jacket but collar hits my chin
May 21, 2011

I love marmot products and was hoping the collar of this jacket when fully zipped doesn't poke under my chin but it did. So, I'll be returning this product. Fit was great and collar was nice.

Marmot Altitude

This is a very nice jacket, well made and looks sharp. This jacket seems to superior to any other jacket of this type, such as TNF Apex Bionic. If you want a light windstopper go with this jacket.

Love this jacket
April 22, 2011

I got this jacket because my husband had a similar jacket that he loves, and I wanted a woman's version. The jacket fits great and is nice for those colder fall/spring days, when you don't quite need a down jkt. It's wind proof and while it's only water resistant, I was really surprised by how much the rain beaded on the jacket. I have worn it on drizzly days and it didn't get soaked through. I would definitely buy this jacket again.

Pros: Great design, Performance, Ease of use
Comfort: 4 / 5

Sadly a bit small for 5'10"
September 12, 2011

I've had great luck with Marmot before, but this jacket was a bit of a different shape. I'm 5'10" and it was wide and short in the body, and the sleeve were short. Great quality, just didn't fit like my other jackets.

Very useful jacket
April 12, 2011

The altitude jacket fits true to size. The velcro cuffs are very adjustable. I wear it hiking so it is the right weight for the spring weather when it can be cool because of the wind. I also like the fact that the material is flexible as I move. It is also easy to fold and lightweight to carry as the weather warms during the day while hiking. Overall the quality and fit match the other Marmot jackets I have.

Pros: Build quality, Performance, Ease of use, Great value, Cons: no hood
