The inner fleece is sort of tight
i ordered it for next winter, because winter is gone, spring is just around corner. Usually wear a xl in most jackets and winter coats
the inner fleece jacket felt way too tight across the shoulders. other thing is fine.

great jacket
This jacket has only one drawback, not enough internal pockets. The color is great, it is warm. and best of all my wife loves it.

Overall great
The quality is good, but the fit is a little small. The large was too large and the medium was to small. I'll make it work. Love the color. I wish there hadd been a powder skirt, but oh well.

Nice Jacket...
Very warm and nice jacket. I got the L because I read that it fits small, usually I would get a M. The Large is too big around my waist, my hips (I am curvy around the hips) and the sleeves are too long (I am 5'4 and weight is 140 lbs). This jacket is very bulky around arms and chest. On the other hand, the inside fleece fits perfect and it is very nice!
I got the Dove/Dark Steel. The outside color looks like a dirty white.

Not what I was looking for
This jacket is fairly warm and very cozy with the fleece jacket on the inside however it is just not heavy duty enough for what I was looking for. It certainly fits small. I ordered a medium and normally wear a small or xs in clothes and even the medium was not very roomy. I sent the jacket back because I was looking for something that I could layer a bit more with and that was a little longer and covered my behind.

Very nice jacket with lots of "extras." I especially like being able to wear the fleece by itself which is very warm on its own.

Disappointed
Although I have purchased Marmot products in the past(PreCip jacket and fleeces), I was disappointed with this jacket. Wish Marmot would redesign their component jackets to include an attachment tab at the back of the jacket to hold inner liner in place as they do at the sleeves. It would certainly make the jacket easier to take on and off. Also would have liked a stow away hood like the PreCip jacket offers. More pockets would also be welcome.
Because I am petite(5'2 120 lbs), I felt that the jacket was "too much" for my frame. It was not light weight and was oversized for me.

This jacket rocks!
Great jacket. Protects from the wind, rain and snow. Fits sort of small, so if you layer you might want to order a size up.

Tight fit
Usually wear a medium but you need to go one size bigger. The inner fleece jacket makes it feel very tight especially around the arms/shoulders.

Excellent jacket
Great jacket for the price. Perfect jacket for hiking - warmth without bulk. The only thing I'd add is more pockets.

Great jacket, but go one size bigger
Usually wear a medium in most jackets and winter coats. Ordered a medium after looking at the fitting guide. Although the exterior shell fits just perfectly, the inner fleece jacket felt way too tight across the shoulders. Recommendation: Go one size up!
