Description

Another legendary piece from Marmot, this time it's the Women's Marmot DriClime Windshirt. With a sheer durable water repellant (DWR) treated shell, and DriClime® moisture management technology inside, this classic Jill-of-all-trades top will keep you comfortable and dry from the beach to the high mountains. DriClime® is engineered to mechanically draw moisture away from your skin and spread it out across the outer fabric to speed the drying process, hence it's not a finish that can wash or wear out, it works forever. Angel-Wing Movement™ shoulder construction and elastic cuffs help the sleeves stay where they should, no matter what you're doing, and the women's specific cut offers a flowing fit and pleasing silhouette. As a stand-alone top, or as a layer, you'll find a surprising number of uses for the versatile DriClime Windshirt for women from Marmot.

Great for walking by the pacific by Hwy 1
May 15, 2012

I got this wind breaker for my wife. Perfect for california spring. We often drive by the Hwy 1 beaches and stop for sunset. As it gets little cold and windy as sun goes down, this I thought would be a perfect gift for her. She likes the cozy texture of Marmot. Altrec carries really good stuff. Items are always as described. Very fast shipping. Very happy to do business with Altrec

Pros: Great design, Build quality, Lasts forever, Performance, Ease of use, Great value

Great Jacket
May 16, 2012

I love the DriClime windshirt by Marmot! The color is just beautiful! It is light weight and has reflectors which comes in handy on my early morning walks. Does run a liitle small in the bust. This jacket is a good layering piece.

Pros: Great design, Build quality, Lasts forever, Performance, Ease of use, Great value

An Essential.
May 24, 2002

I love my Marmot Driclime Windshirt! I've had it since Feb. '02 and have taken it on 4 backpacking trips. It has performed exceptionally well -- very lightweight and warm. It's not made for rugged bushwacking, so don't expect it to hold up if you're going to use it for that. Otherwise, it's a fantastic piece of backpacking clothing.

My husband bought one and proclaimed it his "favorite piece of gear/clothing"... which is saying something. He got me one and I LOVE it. Not too hot, just right temperature and great wind protection. I wear it over capilene and run in cold temps without getting too sweaty. Love it to just wear around Denver even in mild winter temps with a hat and gloves. I haven't had it long enough to comment on the durability!

Pros: Great design, Build quality, Performance, Ease of use, Cons: fits a little tight in shoulders. i got a size up.

good light insulating layer
October 13, 2010

This is a great little jacket for fall days. Other reviewers are correct that it runs small in the bust. This is good for me since I am not blessed in that arena and I don't then have a lot of extra material. I usually wear a small in other clothes like Patagonia but bought a medium in this jacket. I also like the shirt-tail hem because it provides a little extra coverage.

I love this shirt but it is small
May 11, 2011

I love it and debated about small vs medium an decided to go with medium after reading reviews. I returned my medium and am buying a large. The only thing I don't like is that the lining sticks to some clothes and makes it a little hard to pull on. Feels great against skin.

My go-to item!
April 20, 2013

This jacket/shirt is my go-to item. It never fails me. It is wind resistent, very warm but very lightweight. It is pretty true to size. If anything just a touch big. I am 5'3" and 115#. I have both a small and an extra small. I wear the extra small over a tank and the small over other long sleeved layering items. I like the length of the small better but they both get used a lot!!

Pros: Great design, Performance, Ease of use

Outer shell material is either fragile or flawed.
April 08, 2002

The driclime shirt was recommended highly to me so I purchased a womens in Cloud Blue. After one day of wearing (to my office job) the shell material showed thread tears and runs in both directions. I know of no environmental reason. I returned the shirt for exchange and hope that that the new shirt is more robust or it will be returned. This garment should be made to wear in normal outdoor activities. to be determined.

Perfect for cool summer nights
July 14, 2004

I ordered the jacket for cool summer nights. It's perfect and i like the extended back to keep cool air out.

Love this shirt
July 24, 2010

This windshirt is the perfect weight which I think will also be great to layer with in the winter. It is wind resistant, water resistant and is very easy to pack. I also love the zip up collar. The only thing I would change would be to give it outside pockets. Love it!

No room in the bust
August 03, 2010

This is a great jacket, and I was so looking forward to wearing it. But like most women's fitness wear, Marmot has a cut which does not accommodate any bust. Even buying a larger size doesn't work- the chest pulls and it's baggy everywhere else. Great fabric and construction.

Awesome!

All I need for even cold days is a silk top and the Marmot windshirt - super soft and flexible and just great.

Light weight wind jacket
January 05, 2013

I purchased this to replace my old driclime that had some stains on it. I loved it so I thought a new one would be the same, however, I found this updated version to be a bit lighter. The lining is definitely thinner and does not have exterior pockets. I also find this new one to be not quite as warm. The good is it's lighter to pack and I love the color.

Pros: Lasts forever, Ease of use, Great value

most versatile piece ever!
December 03, 2003

This is the most versatile piece I own and I love it dearly. It's also my 3rd one to own over the years.

Perfect piece
July 26, 2004

This jacket is perfect for those cool days and nights out on the trail. I really like the angel-wing movement. It is a GREAT product!!
