nice vest, but too big
Nicely made vest, not bulky - would be good for a performance activity like x-country skiing. But too roomy for a medium that I normally wear, and short waisted, so bad fit if you are tall and thin.

Marmot vest is great
This is a great layering piece.
Light and easy. Very comfortable.
Not puffy at all, so nice for under a larger jacket.
Armholes have elastic to keep wind out.
Very streamlined and handsome looking.
I have it in navy and gray and wear it often.
Holds up to laundering well. Good quality construction.
Would definitely buy again.

Comfortable, stylish, warm vest
I bought this vest for fall and cool spring weather. It is comfortable, has a flattering fit, and is warm enough for cool (not cold) weather if worn with a performance layer underneath. It has a draw string at the waist and a liner in the arm pits to block out wind. These features add to the warmth of the vest.
My only squabble with the design is that the pocket zips can get caught in the flaps over the zippers.
Overall I'm pleased with the vest and have already worn it lots.

Fabulous
Fit is perfect for 5' 6" person. I ordered a Medium. This Vest is very warm. I bought this vest to wear under my snowmobile jacket for the harsh cold in the Upper Penninsula of Michigan.

Small and not well designed but looks great
I expect a lot more from Marmot.. this is a really nice fashionista vest for thin women and not the well thought our garment I expect from Marmot. Aside from the plastic zipper and the short length down the back (leaving much of the butt open to the wind) and the fabric side panels that do nothing to insulate... the flaps on the handpockets face forward to conveniently catch the snow and rain. A nice touch. A medium did not fit girlfriend (5ft2in and not overweight) very well and was too tight to allow much of an underlayer. So... it looks great!! For the winter woods... I bought her a longer, less form fitting vest.

This is the perfect vest for fall/winter/and spring. Perfect for layering over a long sleeved t-shirt for hiking and other outdoor activities. Low it!

Great fall/winter vest. Form fitting and good cut. Does have elastic around the armpits which I could do without.

Great Vest for everything!
This vest is great for warmth, and looks great too. It's fashionable without losing function. I use it for just about everything I do. It keeps me very warm, and I'm usually a very cold person! I would recommend it for just about everything! At Altrec actually got it here way before I expected it. Thank you!

The perpect winter vest for women.
This vest came just in time for cold weather. I can wear it indoors without geting too hot, but it sure does help in the cold. Looks great and is comfortable. Fits any form. I love it!
