Good Fit & Style
March 08, 2012
Bought this jacket in size Med. I am 5'1" and it fit me perfectly. With 26" CBL it is good for my height. It is very flattering compared to other makers. Arm length is not too long (could be considered short for taller people). Insulation is thin but this is the type of jacket where you need proper base layers. I went skiing at Killington on a windy, mid 30F day, with a base layer and a medium microfleece top, and it kept me warm. Very light weight. Pro: Marmot specifies CBL and I found this very helpful, especially for customer buying through internet. A+ for very light weight. Proper arm length. Stylist with contrasting silver buttons on front and left arm pocket. When zipping up all the way it does not cut into my neck. And because of this, I zipped it all the way which kept me warm. I was never be able to do this with other jackets I have (Salomon, Spyder, Fera) Con: For the price, Marmot should have added pit zip and more zipper pockets on chest. No pit zip is not a problem for me. Should use more contrast stitching color on black.
Pros: Great design, Build quality, Performance, Ease of useGreat jacket for city and slopes

This is a great jacket for both urban and alpine adventures. It's very stylish and I really like the black, which looks more like a really dark blue. The hood and powder skirt are easy to zip off and the jacket is stylish enough to wear out in the city or for travel. I'm a little wider in the hips and this jacket fits very well and the length gives nice coverage and warmth. I can see many uses for this stylish jacket in colder climates.
Pros: Great design, Ease of use
