Waterproof winter hiking pant
February 02, 2012
This PreCip pant is awesome for winter outdoor activities. Very stretchy, light weight, and comes with zipped pockets. I can wear a fleece bottom underneath it and still feel enough room to move around my legs and hike strenuously. The only complain I have was that the fabric was a little bit too thin, so I accidentally tear a tiny hole when tripping over a sharp branch. Since then, I patched it up and wear a gaiter to protect the bottom when I went on hiking on a treacherous terrain. No longer worry about tearing it apart anymore and add some warmth to it. Love this pant!!!
Pros: Build quality, Performance, light weight, waterproofgreat rain pants

i got these rain pants for everyday use and hikking/ backpacking in the mountains. the ultralight weight pants packs very small and fits in every backpack. the size fits perfectly even with hikking pants or tights underneath. they kept me dry and warm during many rains and storms in the rockies. and they are an awesome extra layer to stay warm on a cold evening outside.
Pros: Great design, Performance, Great valueGreat Rain Pants!

I purchased these Marmot Precip Pants for a week-long backpacking trip to the Colorado Rockies and I can't say enough positive things about them. I am 5'6, 135lbs. and typically wear a medium, so that is the size I purchased. The fit was great, with plenty of leg room to fit over another pair of shorts or pants, plus a zippered closure at the bottom of each leg to allow you to get them on in a hurry over your hiking boots when a deluge is imminent. They are very light-weight and pack down small, and they are durable, breathable and comfortable. Highly recommended!
Pros: Build quality, Performance, Ease of use
