Love it, but too small
February 11, 2012
I love this coat...but it's kind of small, not really small, but runs smaller than any North Face or Columbia I own. I realize it's a softshell for layering, but still...I am just bummed! It does fit, but I just had a baby and it's a little snug through the leftover belly area for now! I try it on everyday because I really don't want to return it, b/c I love it so much! Still on the fence about keeping it, but wanted to review about the size! I am 5'10" and wear a ladies 14/16 or L/XL.
Pros: Great designLove It !

I absolutely love this jacket. I bought the black/dark steel with pink zips in a large to go with Marmot's Davos softshell pant. The shell stretches and is soft but yet is still very durable. I wore it out in heavy rain and the water didn't even begin to absorb. The inside is comfy but overall the jacket isn't thick and requires layering in colder conditions. I bought the large when I normally go medium. It works with base layers and a very thin pullover but doesn't allow for that extra bit of comfort I would have expected from the large. I'd rather just deal with it and lose a few pounds than to exchange it for an XL and possibly not like that fit either. There are plenty of pockets but the jacket lacks a snow skirt and arm pit zips.
Pros: Great design, Build quality, womens cutGreat jacket

This is a really nice jacket. Its design is pretty and it fix perfectly. I wore it today for my first time and it was a little windy outside. It protected well and it wasn't heavy at all. I could say that this is a really nice jacket and I'll really recommended it.
Looks great, feels great, fit is OK

I bought the Reyna jacket for an upcoming mountaineering trip. I'm 5'9'' and 125 lbs, so I went with a small. It is very fitted - so much so that I'm not sure that I can fit the requisite insulating layers underneath. But the material is clearly high quality and it looks great. I haven't had it for long enough to comment on its durability.
