Definitely A Good Buy!
October 03, 2012

I absolutely love this jacket! I usually buy TNF products and purchased their Carli jacket and it was not at all what I expected (way too thin and short). I took a chance on Marmot and I must say I am so happy with my purchase. The Sassy jacket is perfect for rain and wind and it fits really cute too. I bought the granite color in a medium because I read reviews that said it runs small (this is true because I usually wear a small and this medium fits perfectly). All of the pockets have zippers and there is an inside pocket too which is perfect for me since I don't always like to carry a purse! The Sassy has a nice long fit that covers your butt and looks great with leggings!

Decent Product for the Price
May 16, 2013

My previous Marmot rain coat lasted me a good 8 years before I decided it was time to give it a proper burial. My replacement was this coat. The Pros- love the style and is perfect for my commute to work. The hood is excellent and covers my head completely. The Cons- the sleeves are short, the pockets a little strangely placed (seem too far back on the hips), and the material does not seem as sturdy as my last marmot rain coat. Not sure I will get another 8 years out of this one, but what can ya do!? For reference, my last Marmot coat was the same size I purchased of this one, and it definitely runs small to size.

Great water-proof jacket
January 02, 2013

Love the light-weight shell feel of this jacket; in Oregon, we get a lot of rain and it's not always paired with cold weather, so it is nice to have something I can add to a layer, or have just to keep the water off. My only complaint is that the arms are a little short, so I always have to be sure I wear something with long sleeves underneath, or it looks like I'm wearing a kid-size.

Love the style and fabric - despite the flaws
January 03, 2011

Some of the issues that have been pointed out in other reviews will be echoed here: sizes run small, side pockets are weird, sleeves are a bit short. But overall, you get much nicer styling than you do on other high performance rain gear. I like the fact that you can zip open from the bottom to create more room at the hips. Very comfortable jacket, with a nice non-shiny fabric that is appropriate for professional contexts. Now, if I could just get the word Marmot off the sleeve...

Way better than I expected
November 10, 2010

I wanted a stylish raincoat that I could also wear to work and this jacket fulfills everything. The mid-thigh length is great as for professional/work days but also keeps my jeans dry when I am casually dressed. I went with the Granite color instead of black because I have endless black jackets and it turned out to be a great choice; it works well with all colors of scarves and jeans or black dressy pants. I couldn't be more pleased; it fits well with and without a sweater underneath, the interior pockets are handy for keeping my cell phone dry yet accessible, and the fitted feminine shape isn't boxy or straight nor the material plastic-y. The weather has been very extreme in Maryland all year with only downpours or totally dry weather so my experience has been with severe rain storms and I am happy!

Pros: Great design, Lasts forever, Performance, stylish, versatile

i have three of these!
December 21, 2010

stylish and functional--what more could you ask for? i have this jacket in three colors, and have gotten many compliments. i love the interior pockets, including one for the removable hood. they do run a bit small up top. the only complaints i have are the dinky little pockets in front and the equally dinky zipper pulls on the pockets and cuffs--really useless. but i've heard for the 2011 season there will be a couple redesigns, so here's hoping!

Pros: Great design, Build quality, Ease of use, Cons: Cost
