This jacket arrived and it was all I was hoping for. I am planning to wear it on a hiking, backpacking trip to Machu Picchu in Peru where the nights can get down to freezing. I am sure that it will be great!

I really like the feel and fit of this jacket. It is true to size and comfortable. Perfect for North Carolina beach winters, not so cold temperatures, but fierce winds, off the water. It is the perfect jacket- very warm! Great sale- great purchase!

I love my Marmot Sayan Sweater. It is stylish and functional. I have had great experience with Marmot in the past, so I decided to get this winter jacket. The past week the temperatures have been -0 F and this jacket worked great to keep me warm and is not bulky.

This is a great all around jacket. It is very warm without any bulk. Perfect for a variety of winter activities in Vermont! It is up to Marmot's high quality standards and fits true to size.
RC - 2009-06-16Great practical jacket
I got this jacket as an in-between for fall and winter. It's warm, light-weight, and the angel wing movement is really great. It allows full range of arm movement for running errands, walking the dog or just doing whatever outdoors. It washes well and can fold up pretty small for easy travel. The lining in the pockets are nice and keeps my hands warm. All the (hand and inside)pockets are zippered and the inside pocket is deep and allows you to carry a lot of stuff. It is a looser fitting jacket, so don't expect it to fit close to the body. It's comfortable and allows for layering when needed. I got my usual size. My only complaint is that when zipped all the way up, the neck is a little tighter than I like (but it still keeps my neck warm). Overall, I think it's worth the buy, especially if it's on sale! Altrec is great and provides pretty fast service considering that the s/h was free!
