This is the jacket I've been waiting for...a waterproof puffy coat that'll take the wet snowstorms of the Northwest with the lightweight feel of a spring jacket. The jacket fits true-to-size, but runs slightly short and wide in the body and sleeves. The cut is subtly shaped, rather than boxy, to create a nice female silhouette. The waterproof zippers are a little tough to manuever, but I think they'll break-in over time. The hand-warmer pockets lined with fuzzy fleece are outstanding, and I especially dig the ipod pocket on the chest...no more skipping songs when I ride hard through the bumps. The hood and powder skirt zip off, which rules, and the elbows are reinforced. I nearly got taken out by a tree branch ripping across my back while timber-bashing, and my coat came through without a scratch. This coat is TOUGH, weather-ready, and STYLIN'. GET SOME!

I really love this jacket. It is warm and comfortable. I wear it walking the dogs, out and about adn snow shoeing. The sleeves are a tad short but other than that I have no complaints. This is my first Marmot jacket and I am very satisfied.

A bit small

I was very excited to get this jacket but bummed to find out it is a bit small. Most of my jackets are size medium, which is what I ordered. The sleves were a tad too short, and I can hardly zip the zipper around my hips.

I have the Glacier Grey color which looks very nice. It is a little thicker than most outdoor down jacket so really does the work. It is very warm and true to size. Marmot does a great job in this down jacket.
