Warm & Toasty
January 01, 2012

My hands were always freezing when I went skiing, but they stayed warm and toasty inside these mitts, especially when I used handwarmer packets in the convenient zippered pouch. Highly recommend these mittens for skiing and winter activities.

Very warm
March 05, 2011

My fingers are always cold, so skiing always meant mittens and hand warmers. These mittens have little pockets for the hand warmers, but I haven't used them yet. These are the warmest mittens I have ever used. They are a bit stiff, which makes grasping things a bit awkward, but I'll take the trade off for warm fingers.

Warmth A+, Quality A+, Fit C

THE GOOD * Your hands won't feel left out in the cold. And, in the event of a long, Arctic blast, you have the handy hot pad holder. * The Gore-tex (waterproof-really!) is a must for all serious glove searchers. * I've never had a glove with a built-in nose wiper, but what a great idea. * And, after you have availed yourself of the nose wipe, you can wash these gloves even though they are leather! THE BAD * For some reason the fit is cumbersome. It's very difficult to put a glove on if you are wearing the other one. I have to take my hand out of the glove to pull the other one on. * I use these for walking my dogs, but I have to take them off to undo leash snaps. They don't have a lot of flexibility...maybe this will get better with use.

Pros: Build quality, Lasts forever
Cons: inconvenient fit

Love these mittens!
January 22, 2010

Just started skiing again after 17 years...afraid of being cold, I got these, and after using them, know I won't ever have cold hands on the slopes again! SO warm, with excellent features like loops to secure mittens to your wrists so you can take them off and let them hang while you help your kids, put on your lift ticket, etc. And neat little pocket for handwarmers, but I really doubt you'd ever need them. Admittedly expensiver but worth the $$$!
