A shoe engineered for trail runners who don't know the meaning of too much. This trail shoe features Merrell's trail guidance system with dual-density midsole for men and triple density Q-Form&$reg153; for women, TrailSpring&$reg153; motion-control tubular cushioning is stiffer on the medial side to prevent over-pronation. AirMesh upper with leather trim. Forefoot ventilation and drainage system. And a dozen other features for the fit, support, comfort and durability required by racers who think a marathon is a walk in the park. Stability plus to light motion control.

Weird fit for a Merrell shoe....not at all like my other 8 pairs of Merrell. They went for a Salomon lace combined with a Nike Air cushion which looks good but functions not. Lacing system very hard to cinch up & has hot spots. Toe area is bulbously large. Outsole has very small footprint and feels unstable. Vibram sole is hard as oak and not comfortable on the street; might be OK on soft soil. A real departure for Merrell and not their best.
