Merrell Jungle Moc Leather Shoe
I bought these for my husband for Christmas. He also has two pairs of the suede ones. All Merrell shoes are well made, comfortable, fit true to size and last for a long time. These are a little dressier than the suede, so he can wear these to work, but are as comfortable. Others have commented about the shoe "squeaking", but we haven't noticed that at all. Both my husband and I would recommend this product!

Shoes Squeak
Love the way they look, but when worn they squeak with every step - and they run larger than the similar suede version.
They were returned - will purchase the pig suede ones instead.

2nd Pair
I already have a pair which was recommended for help with my plantar fascitis. I have worn them our so I purchased another pair.
Highly recommend for this type of foot issue.

12 hour shifts
I ordered a pair of these for my husband to wear at work. He works 12 hour shifts, as a Respiratory Therapist, in a large hospital. The combination of long hours, concrete floors, peripheral neuropathy and needing to get from one side of the hospital to the other - in a hurry, is really hard on his feet and legs.
These shoes fit like a glove, from day one. They really support and cushion his feet.
He is ready to order a second pair; so he can change them out every other day and also because he refuses to wear his dress boots anymore!

Jungle Moc - AWESOME
I bought these for my husband because he had hip resurfacing and Plantar Fasciitis. His doctor recommended any shoe or sneaker by Merrell. He needed a shoe that he could wear to work. Within one week he felt more comfort in his feet. He loves these shoes and wears them everyday now. I would highly recommend them.

good looking shoe
Everything about this shoe is first calss with one exception. The insert they use squeeks with every step you take. I tried trimming it and moving it around with no success. it is the heal part of the insert that sounds like a monkey with every step. bugged the heck out of me so i went out and got new inserts and problem solved. The shoes are great and comfortable. would recommend them to anyone. Wish they would fix the squeak.

One of the most comfortable pairs of shoes I've purchased. Dressy enough to wear to work and rugged enough for casual walks. Merrell has the market cornered on casual comfortable shoes

Pete and Repeat
Awesome shoes that span the ages. Twenty-somethings,fifty-somethings and eighty-somethings all have ordered multiply. Great for indoors, good traction for slippery or unsteady surfaces outdoors,and comfortable for on your feet all day. Easy to slip on or off and attractive. They are totally worth the order time and the price! Please dont stop making these!

Merrell shoes are very comfortable
My husband has been wearing this Merrell Jungle Moc leather shoes for the last 5 years, he always got one pair every December. But local shop stops carrying this style.
We found Altec website and very happy to order this Merrell shoe style.

These have become my standard everyday shoe. They are great!
I am a regular Merrell customer and particularly like the finish and color of this shoe. It is supportive, but soft and comfortable. This style isn't easy to find in stores locally. It is great to be able to order them easily from altrec.com.

Best shoes for work and play
These are by far the most comfortable shoes I've ever owned that can be dressy enough for work and casual and comfortable enough for long weekend walks. The service from Altrec was excellent, and the shoes fit perfectly.

Exactly what I wanted
I'm very pleased with my new shoes. They were comfortable right away and are the second pair I've had. The last pair was used almost every day for four years and they're still OK, but starting to look worn. They're great all purpose shoes. Altrec was very easy to deal with and I received my shoes promptly.

Great - Finally
The company finally made a Jungle Moc you can wear to work or even or for dress. They're black, without any pull on strap; the other black ones have always had a garish red-yellow strap that made wearing them with a suit a bit dicey. They're so comfortable they make structured shoes feel like a medieval torture.

Great all around shoe
Easy on and off. I can run in them. I took only this shoe to Peru for 3 weeks with lots of walking and some moderately rugged day hiking. I climbed the larger mountain at Machu Picchu (steep 2000 feet vertical in 4 hours round trip). I have bought 1 pair per year for the last 4 or 5 years and wear them everywhere except when wearing a suit or tux.

Great shoe!
They slip on easy after breaking in, and they look very nice. I don't think I'd take them for long walks but for normal walking, they are a great choice.

Best Shoes I've ever owned....
I have these shoes forever. They hug my feet like the first day I put them on even though now I use them for painting and the soles are completely worn down.... If you like a comfortable long lasting shoe this is it!
