The mid-height version of Merrell's endless summer essential, the Men's Moab Mid Waterproof Hiking Boots is now an even better match for summer spritzers or water spurts with the addition of waterproof construction and the leather reinforced breathable mesh upper. Women's version includes QForm® Comfort stride alignment in the Merrell air cushion midsole. Vibram® Multi-Sport Plus sole increases braking power at the heel for more demanding terrain.

Nice boots, but.....

I have owned a few Marrel boots already, these boots are well built but I am having the problem of them being way to tight on the sides. I use the Marrel Sawtooth boots every day in the same size and they feel great. So I would cation who ever wants these boots gets a wide.

This is the 2nd pair of Merrel boots I have owned, I bought these because they were waterproof and truly are. They as all the other Merrels boots & hiking shoes I have purchased can be worn right out of the box and require no break in period at all. They are very comfortable and can be worn all day long with no stress/fatigue on your feet. these are the only boots I will buy. All the Merrell products I have purchased to date have been excellent. I would highly recommend them to anyone who spends a lot of time walking, on there feet or just in general as oppossed to an athletic shoe.

I gave it only a four because I've not been on the trail with them yet. I like the fit, the looks, and the light weight. I'm a 6' 3, 230 lb, 65 year old diabetic and need a wide comfortable shoe for walking and hiking.
