Good Substitute for Innsbruck in Black

Since I really like my brown/black Merrell Innsbruck shoes, I had hoped to find myself a second pair in all-black. After discovering that Merrell no longer produces an all-black version of the Innsbruck, I decided to give Merrell's black Olmec a try. I was not disappointed. The Olmec is just as comfortable as the Innsbruck (I take a size 11.5 in both), and nicely styled with an attractive leather upper. The soles grip well on snow and ice, and although the Olmec does not claim to be waterproof like the Innsbruck does, it has so far kept my feet dry.

I bought these shoes for my husband for Xmas. Right out of the box, the size 10 fit his narrow foot perfectly and he feels they are among the most comfortable shoes he has ever worn. The brown leather is a good shade, they seem to be well constructed and the shoe looks nicely made. He wore them on snow and ice yesterday and they gripped very well. Merrill makes great slip on shoes and these do not disappoint in any way. Highly recommended.
