I like it so much it was exactly that product what I was waiting for. I always using merrell products and believe that this product will endurance me for a long time.

I have purchased several pairs of low cut Merrell shoes in the past, but none that were waterproof. And then, finally, I discovered the Refuge model which as the name implies, provides dry comfort during wet conditions. These shoes are typical Merrell comfort, and they look great for around town. I would recommend sizing up a half-size so that you have a thumb-with of space between your big toe and the interior side of the shoe tip.

Easy break in. Stable. Looks like they will be durable. Can get warm but that is to be expected. Perfect low cut hiking shoe for all terrain. Was impressed with how comfortable these shoes were even after walking for many hours. Worth the extra money for the waterproof version.

The Refuge delivers on its promises....it is a reliable, durable, go-anywhere, do-anything kind of shoe. It is certainly worth the extra money to get the version with waterproof material. It is comfortable and provides a ton of support. Cleans-off easily. Great for day hikes. If you're considering it for longer hikes, you may want something with more ankle support as it is a lower-cut shoe.

I was looking for shoes to wear in wet weather and these have worked out great. Shoes are easy to get on and comfortable to wear all day. Feet are dry when walking through wet ground.

these hiking shoes are typical merrell quality very well built. the fit is right on size 10 D there are warm and waterproof. they are comfortable to wear walking or off on the trail. I like the extra rubber around the bottom of the sole. Going to take them out west this winter can't wait!
