most excellent fall/winter boot!

these boots were a real pleasant surprise! i have not had many Merrell products, however these boots have made a believer out of me. they are very well made, stylish, extremely comfortable, light weight, so i can wear them all day at work and not feel like i have boots on. i did however add a partial heel insole due to personal needs. i would highly recommend these boots, without reservation. lilygarden

Great Boot - But NOT for me

First, let me say I LOVE Merrell! I have 'problem' feet, and I can wear Merrell when everything else fails. These boots are excellent quality. I am a small-framed woman with large feet!! The boots felt very 'klunky' and large for me. I was also hoping for a softer leather. Although, they were comfortable when trying them on.. they were very large at the top calf, even with skinny jeans tucked in! They are very cute, and I'm sure would be very durable.. but they just weren't for me so I had to return them. I gave it an 'average' rating because they were just not for me.. nothing to do with quality!

They're comfortable, cute for casual boots, and I want to wear them even when it doesn't rain. A must-have boot for the winter! They fit true-to-size... I'm usually a 8.5-9 and take a 9 in these... I appreciate the extra room for a thick sock.
