My favorite boots!
March 23, 2013
Over the years, I've bought quite a few brands of hiking boots from inexpensive Sketchers to pricy Timberland boots. I must say that my Arch 2's have been my absolute favorite. They look nice, are fairly lightweight and waterproof. They required minimal break-in time (I wore them around to run errands for week) before they were ready for the trails. I will recommend ordering a half size up. These boots are so comfortable and durable, well worth the cost. They should last a very long time.
Pros: cute, comfortable, Cons: noneFirst pair of hiking boots

This is my first pair of hiking boots, and I don't think I could have picked anything better. After months of careful consideration and research I finally gave in and purchased. The price was a bit more than what I originally had wanted to spend, but I consider these an investment! These boots are very comfortable, sturdy, and well-made. At the same time, they feel very light on the feet (not at all bulky). I also love the subtle purple detail - makes it a bit more feminine. Perfect for day hikes, and great traction for any challenging trails. I STRONGLY encourage you to order 1/2 size up (at least). They really do run small, even with thin socks (and especially with anything thicker).
